I work regularly on 3 series that interweave with one another: inspiration and technics, skill and questioning, discoveries...
I always work on several paintings or projects at the same time: they come to life and respond to one another...
Then you have to seize the ephemerality of the moment...
Later on, they take me to the close, they call for the end, the completion, the final limit where you have to decide to put the finishing touch.

The series "Abstractions interstellaires" (Interstellar Abstractions) is a recollection of my early life as an Architect: it includes architectural compositions, site plans, futuristic projects, spaceports and planets, space stations, Floydian visions now merged together in the intricacy of my unconscious.

Jazz, rock, and music in general, is another passion of mine...

My series "Air et Espace" (Air and Space) is inspired by a long-time passion, flights that never landed, family destiny... And of course by a passion for technology and its interactions with arts: it seems obvious to me that they can become the theme of art.

The ships and vessels spring up from my cultural roots: men of the Royale (French Navy), corsairs and ship-owners from Nantes, as well as from my life in the sea-side French towns of Nantes, Marseille and Granville. Ports, bays and littorals are a "terrestrial" pendant to the "Interstellar abstractions" series: through the plan and its projection on a satellite and hydrographical scale, it echoes the elements from the sea and space, the abysses and horizons...

The series "Matadores de Toros" draws something from the depth of my soul, something I cannot quite define, which revolves around ornamental elements linked to bullfighting, its colours, passes, and all its formal ancient traditions: "traje de luces" (suit of lights), body movements, dynamics and moves, and of course bravery. This series explores the link with the reality in one of the ultimate challenges, where beauty, courage, life and respect adjoin death...
