A photograph of an adjacent section of the Berlin Wall is displayed as a poster on a billboard that stands on the site of the former Berlin Wall on Bernauer Strasse. It fills a space usually used for commercial advertising. The image displayed on the billboard is stark, without any text or graffiti, its date is ambiguous and the absence of any direct means of communication spares it from political motives.
