Philippe Aimé presentation

Native from South West of France, Philippe Aimé settled in New Caledonia at the end of the 80's

Fifteen years later he is living a " succes story " realizing the dream to be Company Head...

Nevertheless a deep feeling inside pushes him, on 2003, to leave his privileged social position and to go and discover another way of life and another way to express himself.

He came back in New Caledonia after some journeys in Polynesia and Vanuatu and organises his nomad way of life in the bush and around Nouméa " in order to go to the heart with caledonian people " .

Then he met an experimented sculptor on wood who initiates and encourages him.

During several years he will live his absolute quest bivouacing along the rivers discovering by himself " the spirits union " with various types of wood.

On 2009, he came back to Nouméa, organising his first personal exhibition in a garden center then follows, on 2010 various group exhibitions in particular " Ko Neva 2010 " at the Tjibaou Cultural Center then Noumé'Art.

His works of art are also exhibited in various local Galleries.

Early 2011 he decides to settle in town and transmit his know-how.
