Ryan Gander, The amazing adventures of (The lover's tea glass revisted), 2007 Framed color photograph
A colour photograph shows a birds-eye view of a table containing nine art and design books, originally depicting images of The Lovers' Tea Glass made in 1926 by Josef and Anni Albers. Conceptually, the glass was designed to enable one person to pass it to another without risk of burning ones fingers. A fact that is rarely illustrated in documentation of the glass. The photograph corrects this oversight by replacing all relevant images in the book with images of the tea glass being used. Courtesy gb agency, Paris Gallery: gb agency
